Service Administrator

One of our client a well-known international firm looking for an Experienced Service Administrator on temporary to permanent basis for their east London depot.

General Role:-  

To ensure that the day to day administration at the designated Service centre runs efficiently in accordance with Company procedures and policies.

Relationships and Personal Activities:-

Directly responsible to:- Service Centre Manager / Regional Manager

Responsible for:- All administration/organisational duties pertaining to the successful operation of the Service Centre

Relationships with:- Management, customers, all employees and visitors to site

Objectives and Key Tasks:-

  • Fulfil administrative duties within the Service Centre Function
  • Processing all non-chargeable jobs
  • Assist with processing all chargeable jobs
  • Liaise with third party repairers / suppliers
  • Supplying / raising order numbers to all suppliers in all locations
  • Responding to head office queries quickly & efficiently
  • Maintain holiday / sickness planner
  • Provision of general typing for service / workshop, and other specified managers
  • Good housekeeping of department and general tidiness of department
  • To be polite and courteous to all visitors to site at all times
  • Efficient telephone manner and sense of urgency when a phone is ringing
  • Any other non-defined duties that may be required from time to time

An ideal Candidate Must have Following Skills:-

  • NVQ Business studies,
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Systematic and organised
  • Able to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to produce accurate, well presented documents
  • Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Excellent telephone manner,
  • Able to work on own initiative and/or part of team
  • Willing, helpful ‘can do attitude’
  • General administration duties and Word processing
  • Invoice management
  • Basic accountancy processes
  • Professional manner
  • Helpful, co-operative attitude
  • Eager to learn

Desirable Skills:-

  • Knowledge of Protean
  • Knowledge of Sage systems
  • Level 2 NVQ Business Administration or equivalent

It is a temporary to permanent job opportunity and temp role duration is 3 months initially, if candidate perform well then permanent contract will be offered for £18000 to £20000 per annum.
