Key Responsibilities

• • Operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (Class 1) safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations within Avonmouth Docks• Transport goods and materials to and from the port terminal, ensuring loads are secured properly and within legal weight limits• Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks including brakes, tyres, lights, and safety equipment before departing

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance

  • Navigate the dock environment carefully, being aware of pedestrians, forklifts, and other moving equipment on site

  • Adhere to strict health and safety procedures and dock security protocols at all times
