Core Responsibilities
- • Conducting regular patrols of assigned premises in Liverpool L1, including buildings, perimeters, and car parks, to deter and detect suspicious activity.
- • Operating CCTV systems, access control, and alarm panels, reporting any faults or breaches immediately to the control room or site management.
- • Providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and contractors, verifying credentials and issuing passes.
- • Completing detailed and accurate incident reports, logbooks, and handover notes for every shift, ensuring clear communication between security teams.
- • Responding promptly and professionally to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or conflicts, following site-specific procedures.
- • Performing bag checks and vehicle searches as required by site policy, maintaining security standards without compromising efficiency.
Essential Requirements
- ✓ A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence – either Door Supervisor or Security Guarding is mandatory.
- ✓ Proven experience in a security role, ideally within a corporate, retail, or event environment in or around Liverpool.
- ✓ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure.
- ✓ Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with a professional and smart appearance at all times.
- ✓ Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, as required by the assignment.
