Workers-Direct is recruiting warehouse operatives, pickers, packers and forklift drivers for multiple clients throughout Luton and the surrounding area. These are genuine, immediate‑start roles with temporary, temp‑to‑perm and permanent contracts available. Shifts range from early mornings to nights and weekends, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders accurately using voice‑picking, RF scanners or paper lists
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles and containers
• Checking stock labels, barcodes and batch numbers
• Operating mechanical handling equipment (if licenced) – counterbalance, reach truck, PPT
• Housekeeping, recycling and maintaining a clean workspace
• Following health & safety procedures and site‑specific rules
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory management

Requirements

• No previous experience necessary for general operative roles – full training provided
• For forklift or MHE roles, a valid RTITB or ITSSAR licence (in‑date) is essential
• Good level of physical fitness – the role involves standing, lifting and walking
• Punctual, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Basic English understanding is helpful but not compulsory
• Right to work in the UK – we verify all documentation before placement
• Own transport or easy access to Luton locations (public transport routes available)
