We are looking for a hard working Kitchen Assistant to join growing team who are available to work day shifts in Central London.

Summary of Post

Assist with food preparation and the effective delivery of service and standards

Main Responsibilities & Job Requirement 

  • Ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained within the site and stock storage areas.
  • Work in a safe manner, seeking to minimise hazards to ensure the safety of other staff and customers.
  • Assist  with  receiving  stock  deliveries  including  the  verification  of delivery goods.
  • To help the chef in prepare,cook the food and serve food.
  • Assist in the running of external functions as and when required.
  • To carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food and storage – ensuring food quality is kept to the highest standards at all times.
  • It’s really important that you have very high personal and professional standards and the ability to work very quickly and efficiently.
  • Undertake  any  other  task appropriate for the grade and responsibilities of the post that may from time to time be reasonably.
  • Operate in accordance  with  health  and  safety  practices  and regulations at all times.
  • Have a flexible approach to duties and work and, in particular, adopt a teamwork style with departments and activities across the Organisation. This may involve undertaking duties in support of the activities and services of other departments.
Qualifications Food Hygiene Qualification Level 2
Experience Experience of providing a high level of customer service within similar food outlet Experience of working within a small team

An understanding of health and safety and food safety legislation.

An understanding of the importance of customer care and its implementation.


Ability to work as part of a team Independent and self-reliant

Build a rapport with customers and encourage repeat business
